The entrance charge includes a self-guided tour through the medieval house including access to the Society's museum, our award winning galleries, the courtyards of the complex and the restored Rothe Family garden

EXHIBITIONS.

The exhibition in the costume gallery:
200 years of fashion: 1800s - 1990s
which ran from 2003 to 2005 has now closed.

A reminder of the exhibition staged in the Phelan Room from
 30 June to 21 September 2003,
is available at
Collecting arms, crests and monograms: a forgotten pastime.

The house, which is on four levels, is not suited for disabled access. We wish to share the experience of Rothe House with as many as possible and are happy to provide free access to the courtyards, and to the disabled toilet, to those with limited mobility, though the cobbles present their own difficulties.

The House is administered by Rothe House Trust. Contact details will be found here
